The Knot

THE KNOT was a mobile platform for artistic presentation and production that toured to Berlin, Warsaw and Bucharest in 2010. In each of the three cities, it stayed for a few weeks, inhabiting different areas of public space, and offering itself as an open space of encounter, exchange and experimentation.
The Utopian World Championship took part in the Knot when in Ursynów, Warsaw, June 22-July 4, where Jon Brunberg presented the UWC in several ways and took part in events, seminars and workshops. Brunberg presented the project in a public lecture at June 25, built a helpdesk for the UWC and officially announced the opening of the third Utopian World Championship in a concluding, public event. The two hitherto awarded essays in the revised edition of 2009 was available.
